Forest Side is nestled in the Chevy Chase neighborhood in Washington, D.C. With a welcoming forest like setting, this 33 apartment assisted living community's mission is to provide person centered care addressing the six components of Wellness to those who are suffering from Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia.

There are four neighborhoods within the building. The focus of the caregiver for each neighborhood is to be engaged with the Alzheimer's and dementia residents in all aspects of their day: dining, activities, afternoon tea, neighborhood strolls, fostering a level of friendship and understanding. Each neighborhood is equipped with a full kitchen, dining room and comfortable living room with a fireplace. Outdoor enclosed porches, as well a secured courtyard add to the home like setting.
